Mauro Lodi is an Italian director. He started his career after a degree in Comminicatin Science and technologies, working in advertising, television, and cinema, taking over the roles as assistant director, director of photography, second unit director, and editor. He later directed advertising projects for major international brands, including IKEA, Nescafé, Lufthansa, Lamborghini, Audi, and Volkswagen. Lodi has been recognized at prestigious advertising festivals such as Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, ADCI, Epica Festival, and the New York Festival. He recently signed his first short film “The summer to come" produced by Grøenlandia Film, after winning the competition “Borderless Shorts" promoted by the Film Commission of Friuli Venezia Giulia on the occasion of GO!2025 event in which Nova Gorica e Gorizia has been together European Capital of Culture. The short film already received awards in Italy and abroad, including Best Director, Best Short Film, and the Audience Awards.
